Pew Decorations for Your Wedding

Pew Decorations for Your WeddingAre you having trouble figuring out what kind of church decorations you need to use for your wedding? One of the best ways to decorate your wedding ceremony is with pew decorations. Pew decorations are a great way to add some color and class to your wedding ceremony with not a whole lot of work. It’s amazing how the right pew decorations can totally transform a church or other ceremony venue into a beautiful and elegant place to have a wedding. One of the most popular and time-tested pew decorations are pew bows, which is what I used for my wedding. I knew there were lots of ideas for pew decorations that I could go with and any one of them would be beautiful, but I thought that pew bows with sparkle ribbon and lots of tulle would look best in our church, and would create the look that I was going for. But, if you don’t like pew bows or perhaps are just looking for different ideas for pew decorations, then here are some other popular ideas to help you out.

Pew Decorations with Flowers

Another great way to add some style and color is to use flowers as your pew decorations. The flowers can be real or fake, or even a mixture of both. The cost of real flowers can be astronomical if you don’t know where to go, and nearly every bride I have ever known is on some sort of budget. Hang a small group of flowers from a ribbon over the side of each pew, or create a beautiful topiary, which are really popular right now. Flower pew decorations are a great way to create an elegant feel to your wedding ceremony, to have a sweet flowery smell your guests will enjoy in your wedding ceremony. Trust me, your guests will sit up and take notice of these pew decorations.

Pew Decorations with Candles

Another popular idea for pew decorations are candles. You can find single candle holders to rent and stand beside each pew for a very elegant look. If you don’t want to spend the money on the rental fees, tie some glass votives with a ribbon and hang them from each pew as well. If you are going to use candles as your pew decorations, make sure you get permission from the church before you do this, as it could be a fire hazard they don’t want to deal with.

Pew Decorations with a Theme

One hot trend for weddings is to create some kind of wedding theme. Wedding themes can be anything such as colors, butterflies, sports, princess, beach, and even colors. So if you are having a themed wedding, look for pew decorations that will go along with your theme. For example, a friend of mine had a beach themed wedding, and they attached tall tiki torches (which are only a couple of dollars each), and tied one onto each pew. They didn’t light the torches, but the sight of them was enough. So if you’re having a wedding theme, look for pew decorations to compliment your wedding theme.

There are thousands of ideas that you can use as your pew decorations. Whatever you choose for your pew decorations, they will really help your guests get excited about the transformation of the church as well as being excited about your wedding. If you’re trying to find ways to decorate your wedding ceremony location, you should definitely look into pew decorations. It’s a great way to get a lot of bang for your buck.
