Wedding Planning Checklist - Make One!
Even if you aren’t yet in the full swing of your wedding planning, wedding planning checklists can come in handy. Just sit back and think about everything that you have to do - it can make you feel a little crazy. The stress on your wedding day will be unlike any other stress that you’ve ever felt before. All the work and time that you’ve put in the plan your dream wedding day is all coming together on that one all important day. Can you feel the tension and stress yet? I can’t emphasize enough that you’ve got to be able to control the stress you before and on your wedding day so that you don’t have a nervous breakdown or forget something and burst into tears. You’ve got to learn how to circumvent the stress, and wedding planning checklists are a great place to start, as are some of these great pointers.
Learn to Delegate!
The first thing that you must do in order to keep yourself from getting so stressed out is learn to delegate certain tasks in your wedding. I know when I was planning my wedding I had a hard time wanting to give up control of anything, and the stress that I felt was enormous! You don’t want to feel that way, do you? It’s not fun at all! So, find some menial tasks that you can assign to someone else, such as addressing envelopes or tying 200 little bows and tags onto your wedding favors.
Create a Wedding Planning Checklist
The other thing you need to do is create a wedding planning checklist so you can be sure you’re not forgetting anything. Personally, I need a list when I’m doing anything, from the grocery store to getting ready for a dinner party - lists can really help to save your sanity. One of the greatest things about wedding planning checklists is that you can download one from off the Internet for free, and since that will be one of the only wedding things you can get for free, I’d take advantage of it!
Nearly any wedding planning checklist that you pick up will be detailed from tasks you need to complete to how long that you have to do them. This was a big help for me and the wedding planning checklist that I was using for my wedding. Of course, since my wedding was unique there were some of the tasks that I didn’t need to worry about, and I had to add a few things to the wedding planning checklist that I was using, but overall it was just what I needed to keep me from going crazy planning my wedding.
So the best piece of advice that I can offer you while you’re planning your wedding - don’t get stressed out! A wedding planning checklist can help you keep your sanity and will keep you from forgetting something really important.

It is possible to make your own wedding planning checklist, but also remember to have other people give you their ideas too. Family members can be a big help.
